Books are essential to a child’s education. In today’s world though book costs can quickly add up, especially for families with multiple children and in these rough economic times with the pandemic in full swing. Today I’m going to share with you a few ways to get your hands on kid-oriented books for free!

There are two types of books, e-books, and printed books. Well, go over ways to get each type. Here are some simple ways to get free E-Books without even needing to leave home.

Amazon is a great and popular way to get your hands on free books. Despite what you may think amazon sometimes cuts the price down to 0.00$ on some of the best books they have!

2. Books (previously known as iBooks)

If you have an apple product whether it’s an iPhone, iPad, iPod or a Mac all you need to do is upgrade to the latest iOS and you’ll get the Books app for free where you can choose from a huge selection of free books for your kid.

3. Library of Congress

The Center of the Book in the Library of Congress has it’s very own online platform that can be accessed from any device. It contains a huge selection of books all of which are available for free for anyone at any time with a whole section dedicated to kids.

4. Amazon Kindle

If you’re willing to make a little investment on the Amazon Kindle E-Reader you’ll also be treated with a whole selection of Best-Selling E-Books for kids that are completely free.

5. Get a Free Book by Reviewing Another Book

If you’re a reader yourself you can take advantage of this option by reviewing books at the online book club website, which has been around for years now. You’ll receive a free book for every review that you leave.

No matter what book you choose it’s always a good idea to have kids start reading books at a young age. Reading is essential to children and can have a huge impact on their future education.
